FAQ

1. Why are tickets on sale so early this year?
We want to make sure our best fans and supporters can book rooms at The Galt hotel, and we want to encourage fans to start planning now, so they have the funds they need, come May 2009.

2. What is the Best Ticket?
The Best Ticket is what we previously called Ultimate Ticket To Ride. While we always liked that name, we think it will be easier for new fans to figure out what they want when tickets are called Best, 2nd Best, and 3rd Best.

3.Why are there two price levels on the 2nd Best Ticket?
The Price for 2nd Best is $99.95, and there is a $20 surcharge for fans who want that ticket and also wish to stay at the Host Hotel, The Galt House. But, we also know many Louisville fans want to come each day, but prefer to sleep at home, and cannot see all of the early and late shows.

4. Why doesn't the Best Ticket offer the same choice?
The Hotel is very special to the event, and while Best Ticket fans can stay elsewhere, we want Best Ticket customers to share the whole event experience.

5. Why are you offering Free tickets to a concert in Louisville that we cannot possible see?
The free tickets are just something nice we are throwing in for the Best Ticket purchasers who do live in or near Louisville. The real advantage of being one of the early purchasers is a $20 food/beverage rebate, and a chance to win 2 free nights at the host hotel. If you cannot use the tickets we will donate them to our Charity, St Joseph Children's Home, and they can sell them and keep the proceeds.

6.Why is there a 3 night minimum stay at The Galt House
While AROTR is the major event in Louisville, Memorial Day Weekend, rooms are very scarce at The Galt House every year now as there are several other conventions also in LV. Allowing guests to only book 2 nights leaves one of the key event nights, Friday or Sunday with disproportionate vacancies.

7. When can I buy Single day, or Two Day Tickets?
Single day tickets will be on sale Jan 10. We want to give ample time to our best customers to get their weekend tickets and hotel first.

8. What about a three day ticket; why are they no longer available?
The way the tickets are priced, there is no difference between a 3-day and 5-day ticket. We know many of you come for five days, and many come for three. Consider Thursday and Monday as bonus days, not as days you are paying for, but not getting.

9. I do not want to use PayPal; is there another way?
Paypal acts as a bank who processes credit cards for us. Although you will see the PayPal template during the check out process, you do not need to be a member of Paypal to access the service. All Major credit cards are accepted, and you will see those familiar icons when you get to the payment page. Skip logging into PayPal, and click the credit card of your choice.

10. When do phone sales begin?
September 8

11. When will all the bands be announced?
Right now we have rebooked many of AROTR's favorite bands. You can see them on the band page. Now, we start a several month process of evaluating new groups. We will be booking and announcing bands through February, 2009.

12. How do I get my Galt Hotel Code?
Your name is your code; you must reserve your hotel with the same name you use to purchase your ticket. We will send the hotel every Monday an updated list of ticketed customers. You may book one room only unless you purchase 2 or more tickets, and request multiple rooms. Hotel reservations began Aug 17th.

13. Can I get a smaller deposit?
Yes, call or write us after Sept 08, and we will do our best to accomodate you.
