New York/New Jersey

The Blue Meanies have been performing together since the summer of 1984 — and they’ve been fixtures at Abbey Road on the River since way back in 2004. Although their sets can take many forms — from 50-song acoustic marathons to quick, hit-filled shows — they’re renowned for their energetic and fun Beatles, Monkees, Kinks and Byrds tribute shows. But regardless of the theme, their shows always combine familiar songs with deep album cuts, rare tracks and trivia.

Besides their countless appearances at AROTR, they’ve performed at Monkees conventions across the country, plus Beatles Week in Liverpool and New York City’s B.B. King Blues Club. They also hosted the official jam session at NYC’s Fest for Beatles Fans for more than 20 years.

The Blue Meanies' extended set includes music by the Beatles and solo Beatles (keep an eye out for this year’s John Lennon set!), the Kinks, the Who, Rolling Stones, Animals, Zombies, Doors, Yardbirds, Moody Blues, Dave Clark Five, Cream/Eric Clapton, CCR, the Byrds, the Band and many, many, many more.

See you in Jeffersonville!
