S2 E12: Something About Everything to See at AROTR 2023

In this episode of Something Will Happen Melissa and Emily walk the listeners through the site of AROTR 2023. They discuss new stages, food and art vendors you won't want to miss, and new interactive additions to the festival! We are so excited for all we have planned, that we couldn't wait to give you a sneak peak!

Melissa begins by telling listeners where they can find the Box Office. Past festival goers will be familiar with our main Box Office at Pearl and Chestnut. If you will be taking the shuttle from the Radisson, this is where you will be! This year there will be a secondary Box Office located on Mulberry St. This secondary Box Office will be closer to the accessible parking and the Colston lot.

A new change to the festival this year is a brand new stage under the Pavilion! Longtime Abbey Road on the River goers will know that the pavilion is a great place to hang out and get some much needed shelter from the sun. This year, we are bringing the music right under the Pavilion with you! This stage will be noted as Stage P on the schedule. The grassy area which normally holds Stage D will now be filled with food vendors, picnic tables, and sunny spots to lay a blanket down.

With the new stage in the Pavilion, the official Abbey Road on the River Merch Booth and all our lovely art vendors will be moved away from the Pavilion. The Merch Booth will be filled with a variety of goodies including licensed Beatles t-shirts, AROTR merch, hats, hoodies, and so much more. This will easily be found on the pavement near the Pavilion under the walking bridge. From the Merch Booth, you can walk along our vendor row which will be along the sidewalk on Mulberry St. leading you right to the main stages!

While in the area, you can check out our many art installations. Take your picture walking the Abbey Road crosswalk; add some art to the chalk wall; and tie a ribbon onto the Peace Tree. As always, near Stages A and A2, there is the playground for your kids to play on while dancing to the wonderful music and don't forget to visit the Abbey Road on the River tree. There is so much to see and do at Abbey Road on the River!
